Detroit Meal Prep Built for Real Work
Detroit runs on hard work — automotive manufacturing, healthcare, construction, logistics. The people powering this city burn serious calories and need food that keeps up. Breaking the Fast delivers chef-prepared, high-protein meals across Detroit and the metro area every week. No subscriptions to national apps. No frozen food shipped from a warehouse. Fresh, local, and built for the 313.
Our meals are macro-counted to your body metrics. That means the portions are calibrated for YOUR caloric needs based on your BMR, not a generic serving size designed for someone sitting at a desk all day.
Who We Serve in Detroit
The auto industry alone employs hundreds of thousands across Wayne County. Add in Henry Ford Health, Beaumont, DMC, the trades, warehousing, and the growing tech scene downtown — Detroit has one of the most physically demanding workforces in the country. These workers need 3,000 to 5,000 calories a day, not a 400-calorie salad.
We also serve corporate accounts across Metro Detroit. Weekly team lunches, office meal programs, and job site deliveries that keep your crew fueled and focused.
Meal Plans Starting at $120/Week
12 meals/week: $120. 18 meals/week: $170. 21 meals/week: $190. Every meal is chef-prepared with a monthly rotating menu — breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Billed every two weeks, plus shipping.
Most of our Detroit clients start with the 21-meal plan because the math makes sense: $9.05 per meal for food that is better than anything you will find in a drive-through, portioned to your body, and delivered to your door.
